What a fabulous vintage ring! It is made of sterling silver with a huge design that has beautiful silver work surrounding a bezel set stone (probably shimmer obsidian). The stone is dark in color with a slight iridescence to it.
The ring opens to reveal a secret compartment inside. Sometimes rings with secret compartments are referred to as poison rings.
The top of the ring measures about 1 1/2" by 1 1/4". The size of the ring is about a 7 1/2. Good condition with light age wear. Ring is signed with makers initials of AAE - Mexico - and the eagle mark with 213 inside.
It tests to be sterling silver. This ring is sure to become a treasured favorite! You will LOVE it!
