Vintage "Alice" Bracelet & Necklace Set. This is in good vintage condition. Items appear to have been worn but still has most of the paint and pieces present- there are a few dings and two small faux pearls are missing.
This bracelet and necklaces consist of multi-color enamel flowers accented with faux seed pearls on a blackened background on what may have been a gold wash setting- looks more silver to me.
The 5 link bracelet measures 7.5" long. Necklace is 7 links which matches the bracelet and is adjustable so it can be 12-16 inches long. Back of bracelet and necklace are both marked and trademarked "Alice" in script.
.Clips and clasp all function properly.
Research from various online sources:
"Alice jewelry was produced by Alice Jewelry Company which was founded by Jennie Jaron & her husband in Providence, Rhode Island, USA from 1950 until 1977. The company produced good quality retro design earrings, brooches, pins, anklets, pendants, bracelets and necklaces and specialized in high end gold plated enamel jewelry some with tiny faux pearls. Mark: "Alice" in script. The company was purchased by Bernard Scola in 1977. (This company was NOT connected with Alice Caviness)"**Note: Signed early 'Alice' in script jewelry pieces are 'relatively rare'
